Austin Black Business Journal Announces the 2021 TOP 10 SUPER Lawyer Awards. These incredible attorneys will be celebrated at a grand celebration in their honor Saturday, November 20, 2021 at J.W. Marriott, downtown Austin at 6:00pm.
Presented annually, the TOP 10 Lawyer Award recognizes ten Black professionals in the legal field who have achieved professional excellence and have actively paved the way to success for others.
“These individuals demonstrate brilliance in a variety of professional settings. They have reached the pinnacle of their careers and still they strive for more”, said Black Business Journal Publisher, Anita C Roberts.
The 2021 winners include the Executive Director on the State Commission on Judicial Conduct, newly promoted Army Futures Command, Brigadier General, the first black woman president of the Texas Exes, the first Black women to serve on a district court in Travis county, and many more. Each affecting change by ensuring justice is fair and equitable in the state of Texas and beyond.
“It is quite an honor to be recognized and have the opportunity to share our stories, our journey in life. I think it’s important for kids to see what’s possible, when you focus, plan, prepare and then believe in yourself and your faith, then the skies the limit” as one of the 2020 Black Business Journal’s Top Ten Lawyer, Carl S Richie, Jr. said.
