The mission of the Soul of Austin Culture Fest is to celebrate the beauty and creativity

of Central Texas, spotlighting the neighborhoods, businesses, and residents that make

our city unique. We aim to nurture economic and artistic relationships and promote

inclusivity through collaboration with artists, professionals, educators, and businesses.

Austin’s authentic diversity is what sets it apart from other cities, and we strive to

highlight the many cultures that contribute to its identity. The Soul of Austin Culture

As Cesar Chavez said,

We need to help students and parents cherish and preserve the ethnic and cultural

diversity that nourishes and strengthens this community – and this nation.

Jintao Hu reminds us that,

Diversity in the world is a basic characteristic of human society, and also the key

condition for a lively and dynamic world as we see today.

And as Martin Luther King Jr. shared,

We need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity.

We need to give each other space so that we may both give and receive such beautiful

things as ideas, openness, dignity, joy, healing, and inclusion.

Let’s work together to honor these words and create lasting change in Austin by supporting

the Soul of Austin Festival.

Thank you for your generosity and commitment to strengthening our community.
